Why do I do what I do?

’m here to get the good shit done and leave this place better than I found it. I’m not interested in empire building or wealth hoarding but I am interested in systems change for social impact. Which is how I've ended up in government, working with decision makers who have the power to create positive change.

I believe we all have the power to make a difference wherever we are, and that each of us has a responsibility to do so, with whatever resources we’ve been given.

For me that starts with the people, communities and organisations around me. And here in Aotearoa it means active decolonisation and reindigenisation.
